As you know, our City and communities are being deeply impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Our primary focus at this point is the safety of our citizens, and local, state and federal leadership have implemented some unprecedented restrictions in an effort to save lives and reduce the viral spread. Understandably, the impact of these restrictions will be felt by many. To help those impacted the most, we are setting up our COVID-19 Relief site to help connect those in need with resources. Working in partnership with the United Way of Dallas, our intention is to connect those in need with the proper organization that will serve their specific needs as related to basic needs (food, necessities), job opportunities, information on unemployment or other government services, etc.

YMCA Free Child Care for Frontline Workers.

YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas’ Emergency Child Care Program is available at no cost for essential workers including first responders, medical professionals, government officials, healthcare/hospital, grocery, logistics industry and others. This care will be offered until further notice at six YMCA branches across the Dallas area, in accordance with state guidelines. More information is available at chaseoaks.org/ymca/.
